This supplication is called al-Wāridāt al-Rabbāniyya fī al-Daʿwāt al-Jāmiʿa . Sīdī Ḥamūd bin al-Bashīr al-Nāṣirī al-Blīdī, the Algerian scholar and disciple who wrote a commentary of this supplication, wrote, “I heard from (the Shaykh) I that this supplication came into his heart by inspiration, phrase by phrase, one night in the time before the Fajr prayer, complete from its beginning to its end...”
